A new home for Rimland residents in 2013
It has been a productive year for our housing initiative! After months of planning and construction, we are pleased to be nearing completion on our most recent renovated home in Evanston. Today we finished installing the siding on the addition as well as the wood fence that surrounds our expansive back yard. We look forward to the spring when we can plant a raised organic vegetable garden along with the trees, shrubs, grass and flowers!
For now, our focus is on finishing the interior in time for the new residents to move in early in 2013. Check back for the before and after photos of this project along with updates regarding our next two houses that will be completed this winter. We are deeply grateful for all of our partners in this process, especially our vendors and donors who have supported us so generously with this house including Abt, Toto, Stone Source, InterfaceFLOR and the Furniture Shop.
