Rimland’s inclusive approach shows that the label “autism” doesn’t need to be divisive.
Rimland’s approach is different. We include our residents in all activities of daily living, and help them to engage in the world around them. Each is treated with dignity, as a whole person capable of learning and growing. Our main programs reflect this approach:
- Our Residential Living program focuses on establishing daily living routines and skills. We do this in a home-based environment and also in the community, participating in a wide range of life-enriching experiences.
- Our Health & Wellness Program is structured to be proactive, providing excellent preventive care of our residents.
- Our Community Day Services focuses on enhancing each resident’s skill set based on his or her individualized plan.
