Rebuilding Together Returns!
Many hands made light work.
On April 25, our valued community partner, Rebuilding Together North Suburban Chicago, returned to Rimland. Nearly a year to the day after their wonderful efforts on behalf of the Developmental Training Center on April 26, 2104, Rebuilding Together once again coordinated the efforts of 35 volunteers from Evanston’s First Presbyterian Church to paint Emerson House, which houses four male residents and has been part of the Rimland network since 2010. The newly painted residence is now consistent with the colors standard throughout Rimland living spaces and facilities. Even more volunteers were poised to work on external improvements to four additional residences on that day, but inclement weather forced us to postpone those activities for another time. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Rebuilding Together North Suburban Chicago and First Presbyterian Church Evanston for their generous spirits and valuable contributions.
All ages turned out to help.
