2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics. Rimland has participated throughout the years, and 2018 is no exception.

On Saturday, March 24, five Rimland athletes competed in the Special Olympics Illinois Region B Swim Meet at Lake Forest College.

They competed in the 25-meter freestyle race and in the 25-meter backstroke race, resulting in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishes. Congratulations to all participants!
